The Orientation Program took place in a beautiful atmosphere
Orientation for International Students organized by Istanbul University International Student Center was held on 24 October, 2019 at Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Congress and Culture Center.

The program, which was hosted by international students from Pakistan and Bangladesh, started with a moment of silence and the National Anthem.
Afterwards, Center Director Assoc. Prof. Faruk TAŞÇI made a presentation introducing the center. In his presentation, he explained the location, staff and activities of the center to the new students.
After Taşcı, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut AK made a greeting speech. In his speech, Prof. AK said the following: "There are 8,279 international students in our university. We are the pioneer in this field, as in many areas among universities in Turkey. In this context, we expect a lot from our students. We are waiting for your contributions that will take our university further and open new windows to our international vision."

Following the SKS video and the presentation of the Istanbul Migration Administration official, international students were left with Turkish culture activities. Artvin region folk dance show, Turkish martial sport Sayokan show and Assoc. Prof. Armağan Coşkun-Elçi accompanied by Turkish Music Concert from IU Conservatory Ensemble, color added to the program. At the end of the program, food was served to the participants.
