Sudan Country Day was Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Istanbul University.
Sudan Country Day was held in Cemil Bilsel Conference Hall on May 20, 2022 between 15.00-17.00 with the support of Bâb-ı Alem International Student Association and Sudan Student Union under the coordination of İSUMER.

After the opening of the exhibition introducing Sudan, the program started with the singing of the National Anthems of Turkey and Sudan, and ISUMER Director Prof. Dr. Faruk TAŞÇI, Sudan Deputy Consul General Halit Alheir and Sudan Student Union President Mustafa Celaleddin made greeting speeches.

In addition to the video presentations promoting Sudan, Sudanese folkloric plays were performed accompanied by Sudanese local music, and poems about Sudan were read.

Visiting the hall in the later minutes of the program, Istanbul University Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut AK made a greeting speech and presented gifts to the honored guests of the program.

The program ended with group photo shoots, local delicacies and Sudanese hennas.
