Regional Meetings-4 "South Asia" Program Held in a Friendly and Warm Environment
Istanbul University International Student Office continues to have a closer relationship with students from the countries of the same region. In this framework, Regional Meetings-4 "South Asia" program was held for dinner between February 27th at 19.00-21.00 with students of Istanbul University from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Bağcılar Municipality (Lokman ÇAĞIRICI) hosted a dinner meeting consisting mostly of graduate students.
Bağcılar Governor Mustafa ELDIVAN joined the program.
GASAM (President Cemal DEMİR) was also a stakeholder of the program.
In his short greeting speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Faruk TAŞÇI (Coordinator of Istanbul University International Student Office) mentioned a lot of common points; he underlined the importance of pursuing peace and brotherhood over common points.
Turkish-Pakistani Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Ali Sahin, in his speech, adviced to the students.
