Istanbul University is the Center of International Students in Turkey.
Prof. Dr. Yekta SARAÇ, The President of the Council of Higher Education (YOK), declared that the number of international students was 48 thousand in 2014 and today it has reached 172 thousand.
Istanbul University took the first place with 7589 students. Anadolu University, Karabük University, Bursa Uludağ University and 19 Mayıs University are among the top five universities respectively.
