Istanbul University International Student Center held an online international student alumni program on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 14:00.
In the program, which was broadcast live on Istanbul University YouTube channel, Prof. Dr. Faruk Taşçı, director of the Center, made a greeting speech. In his speech, Prof. Taşçı explained the activities of the Center for international graduates.
Later, a clip of the careers of international students who graduated from Istanbul University was presented as a video.
After the video, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmut AK gave a speech to the graduates. Prof. AK said: "We are trying to increase our number of international students. Thus, it will be possible to also increase our international graduates. To give an average of 500 graduates in the past five years, the scale of Turkey are very important figures. We are very happy with this situation."
Following the speech of Rector Prof. AK, the video of the most successful international student graduates of 2020 was watched. Emina Ademovic, one of the graduates, gave a nice speech.
Finally, the video of the 2020 graduates "When Istanbul University is mentioned" was presented. The program ended with the wish and thanks for a face-to-face graduation ceremony.
