Country Days-8 was held as "Azerbaijan" Victory Day.


The eighth of the country days traditionally held by Istanbul University International Student Center (ISUMER) was held as Azerbaijan Victory Day.

 

Organized with the support of Bab-ı Alem International Student Association, Azerbaijan Citizens' Forum and Only Human Association, the program started with the opening of the Karabakh Victory Exhibition.

The program, hosted by Emre Yılmaz, started with the Turkish and Azerbaijani National Anthems.

Afterwards, ISUMER Director Prof. Dr. Faruk TAŞÇI gave a greeting speech to the guests.

Afterwards, Rufat NURIYEV gave a speech on behalf of Azerbaijani students.

Subsequently, the Azerbaijani Deputy Sevil Mikayilova, who came as a guest from Azerbaijan, made a speech on the meaning and importance of the day.

Immediately after, Zaur Allahverdizade, Consul of Azerbaijan in Istanbul, addressed the guests.

The last speaker, the host Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Oral Öncül delivered his speech pointing to the friendship between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

After the speeches, a Caucasian Dance Show was held.

Gifts were presented to the guests.

After the sweet treats, the "Victory Day Panel" was held in the second part of the program.
